GCursometer User Records


Introduction

GCursometer is a GNOME panel applet like the network-manager-applet !

Before reading this documention, please, read on the download page how to install the applet .

Launch GCursometer on a Gnome desktop

Do a right-click on your panel, this is what you will see :

Click on "Add To Panel", then, a new window will appear asking you for applets to add . Select "GCursometer", click on "Add" and close this window

A new item is visible on your panel :

Launch GCursometer on a XFCE desktop

GCursometer is above all a Gnome applet, so you cannot run GCursometer by default . But there is another applet called XfApplet which allow you to run gnome applet !
Download and install it (for debian based distribution, there is a package : xfce4-xfapplet-plugin) .

Then, do a right-click on a panel, and choose "Add New Item"

A new window appear on your desktop, select the XfApplet previously downloaded

You will see a new item on your panel

And in the same time, a window ask you to choose a Gnome applet . Select GCursometer ;)

As you can see, the GCursometer panel icon appear on your panel

Congratulation, you have installed GCursometer successfuly !

Log in GCursometer

By default, if GCursometer finds a profil file, you will be loged on the applet start up . Otherwise, you need to log yourself in order to import your last save online . In any case, click on the GCursometer panel icon, and if you see :

It means that you are not loged :)
You have some choice :

Use GCursometer

After being loged in, you will be able to see at any time your records by clicking on the GCursometer panel icon .
